Taliwas River Conservation Area
Located near the east coast of Sabah, 36km from Lahad Datu town, Taliwas River Conservation Area was originally a project site set up in 1970 by Sabah Forestry Department for enrichment planting of logged forest around Taliwas.
Today, TRCA is a perfect place for visitors to experience a pleasurable nature recreation, with its unique flora vegetation, beautiful serene lake and crystal-clear water. TRCA also offers the chance to sight wildlife such as birds, mammals and reptiles.
